 This course focuses on aircraft components and operation with an emphasis on transport-category aircraft. Systems covered include fuel, environmental (airconditioning, pressurization, and oxygen), fluid-power, flight control, fire protection, icecontrol, warning, and auxiliary power. By the end of this course, students will be able to 1) identify aircraft components, 2) understand the functions and mechanism of aircraft components, 3) learn the terminology of systems analysis and design, and 4) understand the system airworthiness.
