Prerequisite(s): AIRP 2370 This course teaches the fundamental legal and law principles in the aviation industry. Special emphasis is placed on contemporary aviation law issues for pilots, flight instructors, and mechanics including regulatory compliance, product liability and aviation insurance. This course will help students understand and be able to explain and discuss topics including aviation regulatory agencies such as ICAO and FAA, airport and airline liability, aviation insurance, accident notification, reporting, and investigation, aircraft leasing and ownership, labor and employment law in aviation.
