This course introduces the challenges and complexity of aviation safety faced by aviation professionals across the industry. This course will help students understand and be able to explain and discuss the historical developments of aviation and aerospace safety approaches, current ICAO and FAA aviation safety regulations, TSA/DHA regulations, modern terrorist threats, and human elements in aviation safety.
