This degree requires 120 credit hours, including 42 hours of University Core coursework.

Degree Requirements

All candidates must meet the following:

1. Fulfill all university requirements for a bachelor’s degree, as outlined in the Bachelor’s Degree Requirements  section of this catalog.
2. Complete Core Curriculum  Requirements for students entering college in Fall 1999 or later.
3. Satisfy Bachelor of Arts degree requirements:
   • Lower Division: 3 semester hours of speech and fulfillment of the computer literacy/proficiency requirement (see note below).
   • Foreign Language: 6 semester hours at the sophomore level in one foreign language.
     • Students with an approved foreign language test   score from the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences may substitute 6 elective hours. 
4. Complete all required courses for the degree plan (outlined below).

Note: Students who are core complete but did not take speech and computer literacy/proficiency as part of their core curriculum will be required to complete these courses to meet degree requirements.
