				The Political Science program offers two concentrations: a standard Political Science concentration and a Pre-Law concentration. This degree requires 120 credit hours, including 42 hours of University Core coursework. Degree Requirements All candidates must meet the following: 
	Fulfill all university requirements for a bachelor’s degree, as outlined in the Bachelor’s Degree Requirements  section of this catalog.Complete Core Curriculum  Requirements for students entering college in Fall 1999 or later.Satisfy Bachelor of Science degree requirements: 
	Lower Division Requirements:
	
		3 semester hours of speechSatisfy the computer literacy/proficiency requirement (see note below)Natural Sciences:
	
		11 semester hours in natural sciences, including at least 2 semester hours in laboratory courses.Students must complete at least 6 semester credit hours in natural science courses, such as Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, or Bio/Physical Science.    4. Complete all required courses for the degree plan (outlined below). Note: Students who are core complete but did not take speech and computer literacy/proficiency as part of their core curriculum will be required to complete these courses to meet degree requirements.  |
