Admission to a Graduate Certification Program

For applicants, with GPA’s below 3.0, seeking certifications in a class other than classroom teacher the following scores must be achieved:

GRE® scores in the following ranges:

• GRE® Verbal Reasoning - 143 or greater
• GRE® Quantitative Reasoning - 140 or greater
• GRE® Analytical Writing - 3.0 or greater

The applicant MUST also meet the Texas A&M University-Victoria admissions index.

Degree Requirements

• Admission to the A&M-Victoria graduate program prior to taking the last course.
• Complete the 15 semester credit hours of course work that includes the Internship.

• AHED 6353 Ed. Leadership in Organizations
• AHED 6334 Foundations of Adult Education
• AHED 6346 Introduction to Student Services
• AHED 6331 Program Planning and Development in AHED
• AHED 6305 Internship in AHED
