 This course focuses on airport facilities and airport management. Topics include FAA airport requirements, airport master plans, and airport operation management. The objective of this class is to learn about airport management and the resources available to meet FAA requirements. By the end of this course, students will be able to 1) identify components affecting airport management and regulations and the airport certification process, 2) identify airport characteristics, basic management concepts affecting airport activities, 3) apply basic management practices to airport related activities.
