The UHV M.B.A. - STEM Tracks


Preamble: The UHV MBA with STEM track is a 36-42 hour MBA program (6 hours foundation, 27 hours core, and 9 hours concentration) with curriculum emphasis on leadership and strategic decision making, with a concentration in a STEM field.

Mission: The mission of the UHV MBA program is to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully manage organizations in a dynamic environment by offering an integrated curriculum that blends theoretical concepts with practical applications.

The UHV MBA graduates will be able to:

  • Analyze business operations and processes;
  • Analyze changes in the business environment to develop strategies that respond to emerging opportunities and threats;
  • Apply leadership skills to work effectively with individuals and teams in organizational situations; and
  • Apply cross-functional approaches to organizational issues.

Degree Requirements


The following courses are required for attaining the Master of Business Administration degree. Courses are listed in the recommended completion order.

*Students who do not have sufficient background in Statistics/Analytics will be required to take BUSI 6A02  as a foundation course. Students who do not have a sufficient background in Accounting will be required to take ACCT 6A01  as a foundation course. Students who do not have a sufficient background in Economics will be required to take ECON 6351  as a foundation course.
