UHV offers a 12 semester hour certificate in Applied Literary Translation. This certificate allows students to work in conjunction with the world-renowned Dalkey Archive Press. It equips students to achieve the goal of submitting an acceptable book-length translation. As part of that process, the certificate also provides them with the knowledge needed about International Publishing to ensure that their future translations find publishers as well. Besides being awarded a Certificate, students will also have their book-length translation published by Dalkey Archive Press, thereby ensuring a publication record upon completion.

1. General Admission Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree and fluency in English.
