This course investigates the challenges and issues facing the entrepreneur as the firm grows and matures beyond the early stages. The course will emphasize continuous innovation, strategic thinking, and leadership for growth. Topics include continuous innovation private and public funding sources, including going public; strategic planning; human resource issues for the growing firm; managing change; growth and expansion options; leadership; ethical behavior and social responsibility; succession planning; estate planning; and exit strategies.
