This course provides a contemporary view of the core of a continuous supply chain - the purchasing and sourcing processes. It involves securing component/product/services from the suppliers all over the world, as well as other strategic and operational decisions in terms of quality, inventory, costs, globalization, ethics, etc. (Credit will not be given for both MGMT 6386 and MGMT 6300 Special Topics: Supply Chain Management).
